
Ingredients:
½ kg mutton mince
2 onions, chopped
1 Tomato, chopped
A few cardamoms, cloves, cumin seeds & black pepper seeds (depending on taste)
1 tsp coriander seeds
4 green chilies
A small sprig of mint
Oil
Potatoes, boiled and mashed
A little butter and milk

Procedure:
Peel the potatoes, boil & mash to paste. Add a little butter and milk & keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan, fry the onions & tomatoes. When transparent , add the other ingredients & the mutton mince. Cook till the meat is done.
In a large oven-proof dish, put a layer of the potato mixture, then the cooked mince, followed by the potato mixture. Make as many layers as you like, but the potato mixture should always be the last layer on the top.
Drop a ittle butter onto the layer of the potato. Place in an oven and cook till the upper crust turns brown. Serve hot.
